Once prospective families are ready to start their Honduras International Adoption Process with Gladney, they will complete their adoption paperwork:

• Gladney Application
• Pathways Training if adopting a child over the age of 2
• Adoption Home Study
• Dossier

Gladney's experienced staff works closely with our in-country team and Instituto Hondureño de la Niñez y la Familia (IHNFA) to find forever families for the children of Honduras.

Once your dossier is sent to Honduras, IHNFA's adoption committee reviews it and approves the dossier. Once you are approved your dossier enters a national waitlist. IHNFA matches the families to available children and sends the referral to Gladney. The referral includes a medical report, psycho-social history and a picture of the child.
