In 1887, while Fort Worth was becoming a cattle destination via the new Chisholm Trail, a circuit-riding minister named I.Z.T. Morris was envisioning a destination of hope for orphaned children.
Today’s Gladney Center for Adoption was built upon his passion and that of visionary leaders like Edna Gladney, who followed.
Then, now, and going forward, Gladney is the place where hope is born in the hearts of every Gladney birth mother, Gladney adoptive parent and Gladney “baby”, whatever their age or birthplace. Adoption placement is hope fulfilled.
